(I can't believe this!  A lot of people really think Dean Pierce is an angel!  Come on, now.   Vote with your heart.)

Do You Know This Man?
Home Up

He was born and raised in Lemont and went to the big city to make his fortune. He and his wife have raised two fine children.

His grandchildren bring joy to his heart. He is a respected member of his community. He is now retired and is enjoying the fruits of his labors.

With all these blessings, why is this man worried?

This is Dean Pierce and Dean has some skeletons in his closet. Dean is concerned that some people think he was a bad boy. The question of the day is: Is Dean Pierce an angel or is he a devil?   Read on...

anjo.gif (2018 bytes) dp0001.jpg (3270 bytes) diabo.gif (2861 bytes) Devil or Angel? You be the judge.

I have received several email messages asking If I feel that Dean Pierce was well-behaved as a youth. Our Guest Book also contains several references to Dean Pierce's behavior. Why has this happened? Does someone have a guilty conscience? Does someone have "issues" that need "closure"? Does Dean Pierce have to have his reputation validated?

I did not know Dean Pierce when he was in grammar school. I met Dean when he was in his late teens. I knew him well enough to form an opinion about the kind of boy he was, but my opinion does not matter.

I would defer to a recent discussion I had with one of Dean's very best friends, someone who is very close to Dean Pierce. This person (who is very near and dear to me) said: "Believe me, Deanie Pierce was bad. I mean BAD. The things he did in school - I can't even get into it." Then he rambled for about twenty minutes about things that will not be discussed here.

Well, That's it. I can't be the judge of Dean Pierce but I think it would be good for Dean if he knew how people felt about him. Now all of Dean's friends (or whatever) can vote on his sainthood and let him know why they think he is a devil or an angel. It's only fair. He brought this on himself.

Dean Pierce....being a person who analyzes something more clearly, a person who is growing up has different experiences. Whether they have significant growth is not something to fret about. When you were children, did you ever think of when you picked your nose, or forgot to flush the toilet? But you've grown out of those things and become someone better. You learn from your mistakes and Dean Pierce has done this, then let him be. He isn't exactly a teenager anymore...do people really want to be reminded of a bad past..? I think not.

I was the Executive Vice President and Treasurer of District Realty Title Insurance Company and we had offices at 1030 15th St, Washington, D.C. One day after our company moved into the building I was visited by the building manager and his brother, Dean Pierce the Bldg Mgr and his brother Sonny. I was so shocked to see them both, we had a very nice meeting and Dean and I met socially periodically and I found him to be very friendly and the life of the party. I didn't know him when I lived in Uniontown, but did know his brother as he played football for North Union and I was in the band at the time. I must say that Dean was known by many people in the Washington DC area. He has my positive vote as a friend. Dean knows who I am and will remember the first time we met.

Wow, you put something out on the Web and the strangest people who have absolutely no knowledge of Dean type in most disturbing diatribe that is ruminating in their devilish minds. I am amazed that people have nothing better to do than to castigate an anonymous person on the Web. For the record I do know Dean Pierce, albeit indirectly as someone who knows someone who knows Dean. I guess that makes me once removed, eh? After all the unfair diatribe, Dean deserves some type of Angel award, especially when you compare him to the devilish minds out there.

Tathata is Essence Isness And I see it Akshobying like innumerable moth lights In the lavender plaster wall behind the television forest of wires in my sister's cool livingroom the radiating isness not obliterated, transcendentally seen, by either white plaster or wall lavender wingboards with bridge of black and wires of Oh dots

Meanwhile the gray lost unturned on screen shows its gray black And then the reflected window outdoor blob squares Like silver shining A TV show with me deep gloomily invited included in the Slow motionless background where you cannot see

My white sea moving shirt of pencil on lap page

So that the scene is real a show of world But through it all still I see Transcendental (and hear) radiations from some pure and tranquil Blank and empty center Screen of Mind's Immortal Ecstasy And even Reynolds' Blue Boy on the wall over there Bathed in holy day light Has his little black fly

Permeative with Buddhamoths and Buddha Lands And his pale face with the Black hair cut Sways, moves, force-weaver Middle way Middle W a y Like a middle void hole cloud be decking Human sad hat holding impression of Dance -

I don't know what to make of Mr. Dean Pierce's ventures. On the one hand, batty card sharks will always band together to put political correctness ahead of scientific rigor. But on the other hand, we must continue to monitor Mr. Pierce's cronies and expose them as the irresponsible unpleasant-types they are. You see, I surely believe that Mr. Pierce makes it sound like he's some perfect angel of unstained ethical standards. And because of that belief, I'm going to throw politeness and inoffensiveness to the winds. In this letter, I'm going to be as rude and crude as I know how, to reinforce the point that a person who wants to get ahead should try to understand the long-range consequences of his/her maneuvers. Mr. Pierce has never had that faculty. He always does what he wants to do at the moment and figures he'll be able to lie himself out of any problems that arise.

To bring the matter closer to home, let me remind you that I do not propose a supernatural solution to the problems we're having with him. Instead, I propose a practical, realistic, down-to-earth approach that requires only that I anneal discourse with honesty, clear thinking, and a sense of moral good. Every time Mr. Pierce tries, he gets increasingly successful in his attempts to progressively narrow the sphere of human freedom. This dangerous trend means not only death for free thought, but for imagination as well.

His attempts to lead us, lemminglike, over the precipice of self-destruction are much worse than mere despotism. They are hurtful, malicious, criminal behavior and deserve nothing less than our collective condemnation. Believe it or not, this is not wild speculation. This is not a conspiracy theory. This is documented fact. As amazing as it seems, Mr. Pierce says that every featherless biped, regardless of intelligence, personal achievement, moral character, sense of responsibility, or sanity, should be given the power to impede the free flow of information. That's a stupid thing to say. It's like saying that his ideologies prevent smallpox. It is high time for someone to put an end to malicious irrationalism. Will that someone be you?

I would like to take a moment to make Mr. Dean Pierce's narrow-minded hijinks understood, resisted, and made the object of deserved contempt by young and old alike. What follows is a set of observations I have made about the most slovenly crackpots you'll ever see. An officious spirit is precisely the wrong spirit in which to deal with him appropriately. To cap that off, I've tried explaining to his cronies that he is so tied up in his personal dreams that he is oblivious to what is happening in the world around him, but it is clear to me in talking to them that they have no comprehension of what I'm saying. I might as well be talking to creatures from Mars. To get even the simplest message into the consciousness of filthy schmucks, it has to be repeated at least 50 times. Now, I don't want to insult your intelligence by telling you the following 50 times, but Dean recently stated that everything he says is thoroughly and totally true. He said that with a straight face, without even cracking a smile or suppressing a giggle. He said it as if he meant it. That's scary, because his schemes are designed to quash other people's opinions. And they're working; they're having the desired effect. As our society continues to unravel, more and more people will be grasping for straws, grasping for something to hold onto, grasping for something that promises to give them the sense of security and certainty that they so desperately need. These are the sorts of people Dean preys upon.

He claims to have turned over a new leaf shortly after getting caught trying to contravene decency. This claim is an outright lie that is still being circulated by Dean's lackeys. The truth is that Dean would have us believe that his opinions represent the opinions of the majority -- or even a plurality. Yeah, right. His pleas symbolize lawlessness, violence, and misguided rebellion -- extreme liberty for a few, even if the rest of us lose more than a little freedom. That doesn't necessarily mean that Dean's ability to block streets and traffic to the extent that ambulances can't get through is astounding, although it might. Rather, it means that Dean's premise (that he could do a gentler and fairer job of running the world than anyone else) is his morality disguised as pretended neutrality. Dean uses this disguised morality to support his drug-induced ravings, thereby making his argument self-refuting.

For that reason, the tone of his musings is eerily reminiscent of that of yawping scoundrels of the late 1940s, in the sense that I truly have a hard time trying to reason with people who remain calm when they see Dean operate on a criminal -- as opposed to a civil disobedience -- basis. Once you understand his inclinations, you have a responsibility to do something about them. To know, to understand, and not to act, is an egregious sin of omission. It is the sin of silence. It is the sin of letting Dean preach a propaganda of hate.

Poison the relationship between teacher and student if you like, Dean, because I simply don't care. His henchmen portray themselves as fervent believers in freedom of speech and expression, but are loath to reveal that in order to lead us all toward a better, brighter future, we must protect the interests of the general public against the greed and unreason of conceited riffraff. And that's just the first step. Remember, I wonder what would happen if Dean really did exert more and more control over other individuals. There's a spooky thought.

Couldn't you figure that out for yourself, Dean? Am I angry? You bet. I'm sticking out my neck a bit in talking about his philippics. It's quite likely he will try to retaliate against me for my telling you that this is not wild speculation. This is not a conspiracy theory. This is documented fact. Dean proclaims at every opportunity that his mission is to take rights away from individuals whom only Dean perceives as self-serving. As long as I live, I will be shouting this truth from rooftops and doing everything I can to justify condemnation, constructive criticism, and ridicule of Dean and Dean's garrulous shameless reinterpretations of historic events.

Many people who follow his ethics have come to the erroneous conclusion that unfounded attacks on character, loads of hyperbole, and fallacious information are the best way to make a point. The stark truth of the matter is that I believe I have finally figured out what makes people like Dean commit acts of immorality, dishonesty, and treason. It appears to be a combination of an overactive mind, lack of common sense, assurance of one's own moral propriety, and a total lack of exposure to the real world. Worse yet, he wants to utilize legal, above-ground organizing in combination with illegal, underground piteous tactics to rip apart causes that others feel strongly about. Dean should think about how his activities lead sexist barbaric-types to increase alienation and delinquency among our young people. If Dean doesn't want to think that hard, perhaps he should just keep quiet.

Who else but Dean would have the brass to defile the air and water in the name of profit? No one. And where does that brass come from? It comes from a sure knowledge that he can retreat into his "victim" status if anyone calls him to account.

It takes more than a mass of complacent spongers to build a sane and healthy society free of his destructive influences. It takes a great many thoughtful and semi-thoughtful people who are willing to teach what I call ill-bred pamphleteers about tolerance. When I say that he never seems to listen to anyone else's positions and reasoning, I consider this to mean that if you don't think that his dissertations are not only bad for the immortal soul, but for mortal men and women, then you've missed the whole point of this letter.

We don't need to demonize Dean; he is already a demon, and furthermore, whenever there's an argument about his devotion to principles and to freedom, all one has to do is point out that he is full of angst and passion and venom. That should settle the argument pretty quickly. After I make technical preparations for the achievement of freedom and human independence, I know that everyone will come to the dismayed conclusion that I stated at the beginning of this discussion: If I hear his assistants say, "The federal government should take more and more of our hard-earned money and more and more of our hard-won rights" one more time, I'm surely going to throw up. Dean's proposed social programs are a load of bunk. I use this delightfully pejorative term, "bunk" -- an alternative from the same page of my criminal-slang lexicon would serve just as well -- because there is no place in this country where we are safe from Dean's helpers, no place where we are not targeted for hatred and attack. How dare Dean criticize my values when his are so obviously shiftless?

Now, it is not my purpose to suggest that I, not being one of the many insipid evil-doers of this world, find his failed attempts to use rock music, with its savage, tribal, orgiastic beat, to turn our country into an insolent cesspool overrun with scum, disease, and crime mildly amusing, but rather to lay out some ideas and interpretations that hold the potential for insight. It may sound strange to him when I say that few people realize that we have to consider all of our options, but if he succeeds in his attempt to substitute rumor and gossip for bona fide evidence, it'll have to be over my dead body. It probably sounds like I'm being careless, but Dean is right about one thing, namely that fear is what motivates us. Fear of what it means when malodorous profligate cretins make negativism socially acceptable. Fear of what it says about our society when we teach our children that there is something intellectually provocative in the tired rehashing of twisted stereotypes. And fear of scornful ignorant dolts like Dean who help vexatious fugitives evade capture by the authorities. Do you think I'm the only one who wants to find the common ground that enables others to review the basic issues at the root of the debate? I assure you, I am not. But the most devious scientists you'll ever see are receptive to his invidious messages and fool easily. And here, I claim, lies a clue to the intellectual vacuum so gapingly apparent in his smears. I would like to close by saying that Mr. Dean Pierce's claims are pure tripe.
